What we are

bitcoinwhale.org is an educational site about reading large Bitcoin movements on-chain. The Radar, Brief, and Labels tools run in your browser. We do not offer accounts, subscriptions, or trading signals.

Data we collect directly

None on our servers. This is a static site. We do not operate a backend that stores your lookups, IP addresses, or browsing history. When you paste a transaction id into Brief, that request goes from your browser to public third-party APIs — not through our infrastructure.

Third-party services

• mempool.space — public REST API for mempool and transaction data. Your browser calls it directly when you use Radar or Brief.
• CoinGecko — approximate BTC/USD price for display. Called from your browser; we do not guarantee uptime or accuracy.
• Google AdSense — if you accept cookies via our banner, Google may set advertising cookies and process data per Google's Privacy Policy. If you decline, the AdSense script is not loaded.
• GitHub — if you visit our source repository via the footer link, GitHub's terms apply.

Cookies and local storage

We store your cookie consent choice (bw_cookie_consent) in your browser's local storage so the banner does not reappear every visit. Values are accepted or declined. See our Cookie Policy for types, duration, and how to change your choice.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal data. Because we do not hold personal data on servers, most requests relate to third parties (especially Google AdSense). You can clear local storage in your browser to reset consent. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
